This is a request for :iconbritestarrobot: Angie taught me something I didn't know. In the Roald Dahl book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" there was a sixth golden ticket winner, Miranda Mary Piker. She was a rude, beastly little girl that hated to play and believed that kids should spend all their time studying. As the story goes she and her father are killed in the Spotty Powder mixing machine. Her story was edited out of the finished book but still lives on in Oompa Lumpa legends and songs.

I wanted to get this done in time for Angie's birthday but I missed it by a couple of days. So, Angie, Happy Birthday. I hope it was a great one.

Hi Sherie, Thanks for commenting. I also had never heard of her. There isn't a lot of info about her out there but I was able to find enough to come up with this design. I guess I can see why they left her out of the finished work. The book would have taken a bizzare twist if characters would have started dying.

I plan to make a ghost version of her for an episode of my series: Captain Storm!

Wow your kidding! Damn the things that even the movie can miss, well hell look at something like Lord Of The Rings and people like my dad who mentioned things they missed out on.

Anycase can see why the edit was made and hell it wouldn't be at all the most wonderful candy factory ever if everyone was getting killed all the time, welcome to the slaughter house!

Regardless a big hats off to the sheer creative genius of putting words into a form to represent them Charlie, quite speechless at your skills lad.

Do feel you nailed the nerdy look and very uptight look on her though, even the way her pigtails stick out in comparison to those hugely oversized glasses, fits well into the rest of the rotten kids who came in, wow!

Lastly a great job on the eyes. Looking beautifully done but very focused no doubt just like how the original Miranda is.

A big Willy Wonka Hats off to you dear sir, you certainly did a fantastic job for your friend and Willy Wonka fans alike, nuff said!

Hi Tyler, Thank you so much. I do like the way this one came out. As requests go, this was different than most of the things I get asked to draw. Usually its an established character or their OC that someone wants sexed up. They often suggest the pose they want them in and sometimes the outfit that they should be wearing. The description for this character was very vague. Yes, there was a School uniform, braids and glasses but the majority of the narrative was about the kids personality. It was cool to design a character based on the way they think and act over the usual requested stuff. I quess that would be a good indication that I should try making my own OC one of these days. So, I'm glad you like it too. Thanks again for the thoughtful comment. Good luck in school. I'll talk to you later. Oh and I love your slaughter house analogy.

Yeah you can say that again, usually its someone who wants to see a super sexed up version of this one character but like you say never something like Miranda. o0o

Still a big compliments to taking that vague descriptions and really rendering the perfect character to fit them with, not kidding lad.

Oh yeah man just being able to get that extra bit of creativity in your artwork really adds alot more to the image than you think than something like, okay here's another KP in a bikini. *insert sigh here*

A pleasure to have caught this spectacular work there Charlie and thanks for the boost on school, trying the best I can, lol. Oh and yeah and you came blame that slaughterhouse reference from playing Splatterhouse so much, lol.

Hi Jason, Thank you. I liked doing this one. Pure cartoony fun. Big head, skinny body, large butt. What's not to like.
